ISIS claims responsibility for attack on civilians in Ghor

Daesh, or ISIS, in a statement claimed responsibility for a deadly attack on residents of Daikundi province in Ghor province in central Afghanistan.

ISIS claimed that 15 people were killed and six others injured in the attack.

Earlier, local sources told Amu that 14 people had been killed and four others wounded in the assault by unidentified gunmen in the Khami area of Ghor on Thursday afternoon.

ISIS stated that the attack took place in the village of Qariodal, located between Daikundi and Ghor in central Afghanistan.

The Taliban has not yet commented on the incident.
