Afghanistan’s national futsal team is set to play against Guatemala in the Continental Futsal Championship in Bangkok, Thailand, on Monday afternoon.
The tournament, held in the Thai capital, features teams from Afghanistan, host nation Thailand, Guatemala, New Zealand, and Kuwait. The competition began on August 29 and will run until September 6.
Afghanistan has also secured a spot in the 2024 Futsal World Cup, which will be hosted by Uzbekistan starting on September 14.
