Pak Suzuki Motors Company Limited has started exporting vehicles to Bangladesh and Afghanistan, the company announced on its website.
Pak Suzuki’s CEO, Hiroshi Kawamura, made the announcement during the inauguration of the Suzuki Vendor Cluster Area. Kawamura highlighted that the company has been exporting vehicles and auto parts since 1997, including software and motorcycle accessories to Japan.
Pakistani Minister for Industries and Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain, stated that the initiative aims to expand Pak Suzuki’s network of local suppliers, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs through localized supply chain management.
This development comes as Pakistan recently closed all crossings to Afghanistan’s commercial trucks, citing a lack of Temporary Entry Permits.
