Four people were killed and three more were wounded in a traffic accident in Doshi district in the northern province of Baghlan on Thursday, Taliban officials said.
The incident happened in the Kelagai area in the Doshi district, said Mawlawi Abidi, head of the traffic department of Baghlan.
Health officials said three women are among the victims and that the wounded are in a stable condition.
This comes after a sharp increase in traffic accidents in northern and southern parts of Afghanistan, especially in Kandahar and Helmand in the south and Baghlan and Takhar in the north.
