His recent coaching roles include serving as batting coach for the Pakistan Men’s National Team in 2023 and various positions with South African teams from 2019 to 2023.
Parsons, an English-South African all-rounder with a significant domestic record in both England and South Africa, will mentor the U19 team. His career includes 338 first-class and 351 List A games, scoring 6,763 runs and taking 809 wickets in first-class cricket, and 1,941 runs with 351 wickets in List A games.
Puttick has signed a one-year contract with the Afghanistan National Team and will join them for their upcoming T20I tour of India. Parsons has already joined the Afghanistan National U19 Team in South Africa, preparing for the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024.
