Afghanistan’s A cricket team reaches Emerging Asia Cup final

AL AMERAT, Oman — Afghanistan’s A cricket team, also known as the AfghanAbdalyan, defeated India A by 20 runs on Friday to secure a spot in the ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Asia Cup final.

Playing at Al Amerat Cricket Stadium in Oman, Afghanistan set a strong total of 206 runs for four wickets in 20 overs.

India, in response, managed 186 runs for seven wickets, falling short despite a spirited chase.

Sediqullah Atal led the Afghan batting effort with a commanding 83 off 52 balls, earning him the title of Player of the Match. Afghanistan will now prepare for the Grand Finale, eager to claim the championship title.
