Taliban resume house-to-house searches in parts of Kabul, sources say

Sources told Amu on Tuesday that Taliban have resumed house-to-house searches in certain areas of Kabul, inlcuding police districts 4, 11 and 17.

Naseer Ahmad Ahmadi, the Taliban’s police chief for Kabul’s District 11, said by these searches, they are looking for people affiliated with Daesh or the resistance front as well as “criminals.”

According to sources, the inspections were conducted in the 315 neighborhood in northern Kabul on Tuesday.

Taliban have not yet commented on the matter. However, similar house-to-house searches have been conducted by the Taliban in Kabul and other cities in the past.
