Three dead in traffic accident in Khost Province

At least three people were killed in a traffic accident on Thursday in Afghanistan’s southeastern Khost Province.

The crash, which occurred in the Nadir Shah Kot district, involved a Toyota Corolla and a Toyota Vitz, the Taliban-run Bakhtar News Agency reported.

One additional person sustained injuries in the collision, which remains under investigation.

Taliban officials cited poor road conditions and driver negligence as likely contributors to the accident.
