A boxing qualifying competition featuring 120 athletes began in Kabul , aiming to select participants for Afghanistan’s national team.
The three-day event, organized by Taliban-run sports officials, marks the second round of qualifying for adult athletes.
Competitors from various parts of Kabul, weighing between 48 and 92 kilograms, are vying for a spot on the national team. By the end of the competition, 26 athletes will be selected to advance.
