Internet services disrupted across Pakistan

Pakistani media reported a nationwide disruption of internet services on Wednesday.

The exact cause of the outage remains unidentified, with Pakistani officials stating that they are currently assessing the situation.

Reports suggest the issue is likely related to international traffic rather than a local network problem.

Access to Meta’s social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram remains unaffected, though some other networks have reported disruptions.

Nayatel, a telecommunications company in Pakistan, has reported that its services have not been impacted.

Some southern cities experienced minor issues, which have since been resolved. Nayatel, which services Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, and Faisalabad, reported no problems.
