Three people, including two women, were killed in an attack by unknown gunmen in the southern city of Kandahar, a local Taliban official said on Friday.
The incident happened in Police District 7 in Kandahar City on Wednesday evening, July 10, the Taliban-run provincial directorate of information and culture reported.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and no group has claimed responsibility for the killings. However, Taliban has suggested that the incident might be related to a family dispute, and investigations are ongoing.
