KABUL, Afghanistan — The third round of the Afghanistan Football League began in Kabul on Saturday, featuring participation from 12 international players from Iran, Nigeria, and Pakistan.
The league, known as League Baratar Football Afghanistan, represents the country’s premier commercial football competition.
The opening match saw Abu Muslim defeat Sarsabz-e Yashlar 2-0.
The next game will feature Sorkh Poshan Herat against Khorasan teams.
