PERUGIA, Italy — The International Journalism Festival kicked off Wednesday in Perugia, Italy, drawing hundreds of journalists and media workers from various countries.
One of the panels focused on the situation of journalists in Afghanistan, highlighting the challenges they face.
The festival, which is an annual event every April, has also attracted many Afghan journalists and rights activists.
