KABUL — At least 150 people, including eight women and 13 children, died in traffic accidents during the Eid holiday—from April 10 to 14, according to Taliban’s traffic directorate.
An additional 185 individuals were injured in these incidents.
Quoted by the Taliban-operated Bakhtar News Agency, the directorate said that there were 102 traffic incidents across various regions of the country throughout the holiday period.
These accidents are primarily attributed to substandard road conditions and driver negligence.
