The Resistance Front claimed on Saturday that one Taliban member was killed in an attack on a Taliban checkpoint along the Takhar-Badakhshan highway in the Sharistan-e Kalafgan area of Takhar.
In a statement, the movement also said two other Taliban members were wounded in the attack.
Taliban has not yet commented on the incident.
