The Taliban security command confirmed on Friday that three individuals were killed in an attack by gunmen on worshippers in the western Farah province on Thursday night.
The incident occurred in the Pusht Koh district of Farah.
Taliban officials reported that the attack took place in Kotwali village as the victims were leaving a mosque in the area.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
