India’s U19 cricket team secured a nine-wicket victory over Afghanistan’s U19 squad in an ODI series match in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Thursday.
The match, part of the Youth Tri-Series involving Afghanistan, South Africa, and India, saw India choosing to field first after winning the toss. Afghanistan scored 88 runs in 33 overs.
In their innings, India reached 92 runs in just 12 overs, winning the match with 227 balls to spare.
This game marked the fourth match of the tri-series. In their first encounter, Afghanistan’s U19 team lost to India by six wickets.
