Gaza residents reclaim belongings after Israeli airstrike

In the aftermath of an Israeli airstrike, Palestinians were observed on Wednesday, recovering their belongings from the midst of the rubble, marking the twelfth day of the ongoing conflict.

The southern regions of Gaza endured continued heavy bombardment overnight, with places like Hamad’s city witnessing the destruction of cars and the spilling of furniture onto the streets.

A devastating strike on a Gaza hospital on Tuesday evening resulted in the loss of hundreds of Palestinian lives, intensifying tensions in the Middle East.

This incident has also elevated the stakes for U.S. President Joe Biden, who is scheduled to visit Israel on Wednesday to express support for the nation’s campaign against Hamas.

As a result of the hospital strike, the death toll in Gaza has risen by 500, according to the health ministry.

Prior to the hospital bombing, health authorities in Gaza had reported a death toll of at least 3,000 individuals due to Israel’s 11-day bombardment. This onslaught began in response to a surprising Hamas assault that led to the capture of nearly 200 people in Gaza as hostages, catching Israel off guard.
