SpaceX Dragon spacecraft with crew aboard launches towards International Space Station

A SpaceX Dragon spacecraft with four astronauts aboard launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida, on Saturday and headed for the International Space Station (ISS).

The Crew-7 spacecraft took off at 0726 GMT with NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Andreas Mogensen, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Satoshi Furukawa, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Konstantin Borisov on board.

After separation in space, the Falcon 9 first-stage rocket successfully landed at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, according to NASA.

The Crew-7 mission is expected to reach the ISS after a 22-hour journey.

According to NASA, the crew will conduct research and scientific experiments aboard the ISS.
