Afghanistan’s national beach soccer team suffered a 6-2 defeat against Japan in their second friendly match in Thailand on Saturday.
Omid Haidari and Fahim Haidari scored Afghanistan’s two goals in the match, which is part of the team’s 10-day training camp ahead of the AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup.
Earlier in the tournament, Afghanistan secured a 3-2 victory over Saudi Arabia in their opening friendly. The team is set to face Bahrain on Sunday in their third match as they continue preparations for the Asian Cup, which kicks off on March 20 in Thailand.
