GHAZNI — At least three people were killed and six others injured in two separate traffic accidents in Ghazni province, a local Taliban official said.
Khalid Sarhadi, a spokesperson for the Taliban-run Ghazni Police Department, said the first accident occurred on the Kabul-Kandahar highway in Maqur district, where a collision between two passenger vehicles left three people dead and three others injured.
In a separate incident in Qarabagh district, also on the Kabul-Kandahar highway, another collision between two passenger vehicles injured three people.
Sarhadi attributed both accidents to driver negligence.
