KABUL, Afghanistan — The Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday condemned President Trump’s remarks about the potential displacement of Palestinians, calling any forced relocation a “flagrant violation of international law.”
In a statement, Taliban emphasized that Gaza belongs to the Palestinian people and that no foreign power has the right to determine its fate.
They described discussions of resettling Palestinians in other countries as aligning with Israel’s objectives and warned that such actions could further destabilize the region.
Taliban also urged Islamic nations to take a “unified, practical, and immediate stance” against what they called an international conspiracy.
Trump’s remarks on the potential forced relocation of Palestinians have drawn sharp criticism from human rights organizations and governments across the Islamic world. Many have condemned the idea, warning that it could deepen the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and escalate tensions across the Middle East.
