PHNOM PENH, Cambodia — Afghanistan’s under-17 national football team secured a decisive 9-0 victory against Macau in their second match of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup Qualifiers, held in Cambodia.
The Afghan squad dominated the game with goals from Mohammad Nouroozi, Waris Shirzai (2), Arash Ahmadi, Sahel Sarwari, Nasir Ahmad Mohammadi, Navid Mahboobi, Waris Razeqi, and Yaser Safi.
This victory follows Afghanistan’s earlier win against the Philippines, putting the team in a strong position in the tournament.
