Taliban trade minister travels to Kazakhstan for trade expo

Nooruddin Azizi, the Taliban’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, traveled to Almaty, Kazakhstan, on Friday, leading a delegation of 250 representatives from Afghanistan’s private sector and Taliban officials, according to the Taliban-run Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

The delegation’s visit aims to showcase Afghanistan’s domestic products at a trade exhibition, participate in a business networking conference, and hold official meetings.

The three-day exhibition is expected to feature Afghan merchants and producers, highlighting trade opportunities between the two countries.
