Afghanistan A advances to final of trilateral T20 series

MUSCAT, Oman — Afghanistan A, also known as Afghan Abdalyan, secured their spot in the final round of the T20 trilateral series after defeating Oman by 44 runs on Monday.

The series, hosted by Oman, features teams from Afghanistan, Oman, and Hong Kong. Afghanistan A set an impressive target of 212 runs in 20 overs, led by captain Darwish Rasoli, who scored 109 runs off 57 balls.

On the bowling side, Karim Janat claimed two wickets for 22 runs, while Faridoon Dawoodzai took two wickets for 31 runs. Bilal Sami and Qais Ahmad contributed as well, with Sami taking one wicket for 30 runs and Ahmad one for 31 runs.

With this victory, Afghanistan A will advance to the final, positioning themselves as a strong contender in the ongoing series.
