Hong Kong batted first, setting a target of 112 runs after losing nine wickets over 20 overs. Afghanistan A chased down the target in just 14 overs, losing three wickets along the way.
Karim Janat was named Player of the Match for his all-around performance, scoring 47 runs off 27 balls and taking three wickets for just 17 runs.
The trilateral series continues in Oman, with Afghanistan A aiming to build on this strong start.
