Taliban have initiated a house-to-house search operation in the Dara district of Panjshir province following an attack on one of their military units, local sources told Amu on Saturday.
According to these sources, the search operation in Dara-e Abdullah Khail began after the Taliban suffered casualties in the attack. The Resistance Front, an anti-Taliban group, claimed responsibility for the assault, stating that its fighters killed at least 13 Taliban members and wounded two others during a Friday night attack.
Earlier reports indicated that the Taliban had arrested seven individuals in connection with the incident and had blocked all access routes to the area.
