Afghanistan’s taekwondo athletes won three bronze medals at a recent competition in Iran.
Five athletes, accompanied by three coaches, represented Afghanistan in the event.
Saeed Wassiq competed in the 58 kg weight category, Syed Bahar Mubariz in the 74 kg category, and Milad Faizi in the 54 kg category, each securing a bronze medal for the team.
Despite these achievements, Afghan athletes continue to face significant challenges, including limited facilities and worsening economic conditions, issues they have raised frequently in recent months.
