Sources in Baghlan province have confirmed to Amu News that Taliban has detained Jawed Forugh, a poet, writer and the editor in chief of Radio Baghlan in northern Baghlan province.
The sources report that Forugh was arrested three days ago, along with Enayatullah, the former mayor of Baghlan Central District, by Taliban authorities. The reasons for their detention remain unclear.
Meanwhile, relatives of the detained men say there has been no word on their whereabouts or condition.
