Madrid, Spain — Real Madrid unveiled French forward Kylian Mbappe at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on Tuesday, July 16.
Mbappe, 25, signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid earlier this year as a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain.
The arrival of Mbappe adds to an already star-studded lineup that includes Ballon d’Or favorites Vinicius Jr. and Jude Bellingham, under the guidance of Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti, the most successful coach in Champions League history with five titles.
Visibly emotional, Mbappe stepped onto the stage wearing the iconic white Real Madrid shirt, greeted by the cheers of thousands of fans.
The French forward has been given the number 9 shirt, symbolizing his role in the team as a central attacking force.
