Taliban confirmed that a blast occurred on Monday in Qala-e Naw, the center of the western province of Badghis.
The explosion was caused by a grenade, according to Taliban security department.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
The Taliban’s statement noted that there were no casualties.
