Two wounded in stabbing attack at Israeli mall

KARMIEL, Israel — Two people were wounded in a stabbing attack at a mall in northern Israel on Wednesday, according to Israeli police.

Authorities described the incident as a suspected terror attack, adding that the assailant was “neutralized.” The attack took place in Karmiel.

Israeli medics reported treating two men in their 20s. One is in very serious condition, while the other is fully conscious.

There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
