The Pakistani media reported that the Foreign Ministry lodged a formal complaint regarding the incident, where protesters stormed the consulate.
The statement also criticized German authorities for their “failure” to prevent the incident.
On Friday, several people were killed and wounded when Pakistani forces opened fire on thousands of protesters.
In addition to the fatalities, thousands have been injured in the clashes, according to data from hospitals across the country.
Organizers of the protest said on social media that the protest turned violent when the Pakistani military opened fire on.
"The terrorist was taken into custody following a meticulously planned operation," Gondal said.
