Afghanistan’s snooker players defeated their opponents from India and Iraq in the ongoing World Snooker Championship, according to National Olympic Committee.
The matches took place in Doha, Qatar, on Monday, October 28, with Afghan players Khan Sanzi and Saleh Mohammad securing victories in separate games drawn by lottery.
Khan Sanzi swept his Iraqi opponent with a 4-0 score, while Saleh Mohammad triumphed over his Indian opponent with a 4-2 win, advancing both players to the next round of the tournament.
