A traffic accident in Afghanistan’s Logar province left four people dead and three others injured, according to Local Taliban officials.
The collision reportedly involved two Toyota vehicles.
The accident occurred Monday evening on the Kabul-Pul-e Alam highway, local Taliban officials said as quoted by Taliban-run Bakhtar News Agency.
According to statistics compiled by Amu TV, nearly 200 people have died and about 300 have been injured in traffic incidents across Afghanistan in the past three months, including the victims of this latest crash.
The rising toll underscores a significant increase in fatalities from such incidents.
Taliban have attributed many of these accidents to driver carelessness and high-speed driving, noting that reckless behavior remains a major factor in the country’s mounting road casualties.
