Sources in Panjshir reported that severe flash floods swept through parts of the province on Tuesday, including the districts of Anaba and Rokha.
According to the sources, the floods have caused both loss of life and significant property damage.
Severe storms were also reported in some areas of Panjshir.
The village of Tawakh in Anaba district is said to be among the hardest hit by the floods.
Taliban has yet to comment on the situation.
