A selection tournament for Afghanistan’s national beach soccer team has commenced in Kabul, as organizers aim to form the country’s national team in this sport.
The tournament features 10 teams from various provinces competing for a spot on the national team.
On the opening day, two matches were held. In the first match, Afghan Club defeated Sabawon with a score of 5-3. In the second match, Ramaki edged out Pamir with a close 6-5 victory.
Once the national beach soccer team is formed, it will represent Afghanistan in international competitions.
